—— Discover life , Experience different
Following Airbnb in Hotel and Uber in taxi, VizEat has made a major reform and impact in Restaurant. VizEat, the European “social eating platform” that connects travellers and local hosts around authentic food experiences — such as dining in a local’s home, cooking classes, and food tour.
It is said that VizEat has been involved in the homeowners of 120 countries, with more than 25,000 owners participating in it, ranging from 20 to 100 euros per meal, and the app became one of the top three in the Apple app store list in 2016.
VizEat works in a similar way to the accommodation sharing platform Airbnb. Through online booking, strangers can go to the homeowner’s house for food, breakfast, lunch and dinner, and pay online at the predetermined price.
However, compared with Uber and Airbnb, the catering industry has stricter requirements on health and safe, the kitchen is very special. Each country has a string of strict industry hygiene standards, regulatory rules and rules for food.
The Canada’s First Shared Restaurant :
Drawing on VizEat’s shared economy model, we plan to offer a licensed, local restaurant to carry out this business, rather than allowing customers to enter every family for food.
That is, the cooking fans of the local community families are invited to replace the chefs of the traditional restaurant. Each person only makes the one or two special dishes, prepares the semi-finished ingredients at home, and uses the restaurant’s stove to provide fresh and healthy specialties for the reservation customers.
Our profit model is 15% of the Consumption as kitchen and restaurant space service, add the on-site sales of drinks and semi-finished nutritional meals.
Five major features :
The first major feature is the authentic taste that it can provide. Canada is an immigrant country, and every family that comes to Canada will definitely be the most distinctive food in the mother country.
The second major feature is home made, making standards for their own home, materials and methods of production are healthier.
The third major feature is the ability to interact with the chef, and what kind of people make the dishes is important. Even the same dish, the same ingredients, different people make different tastes, and understanding different is an excellent life experience.
The fourth major feature is the production of dishes is more professional. In the traditional restaurant mode, there must be at least 30 dishes in a store. There are many varieties of vegetables, the chef’s focus will be dispersed. But the family production is different, the main dish is one or two. The chefs work hard around these dishes all the year round, so they are more professional!
The fifth major feature is equivalent to a “cooking course”, because it is home made, it is easier to learn and copy. They don’t need complicated equipment and methods.
This shared restaurant is not a simple restaurant, it is dedicated to becoming a bridge for community cultural exchanges.
